Light painting teaching:

First of all, you need to prepare a mobile phone or a camera, a tripod, and a light. The mobile phone needs to be set to manual shooting mode, same operation as on camera. Here we use a camera for demonstration.

Then wait until night and find somewhere to hold the camera. Use the tripod if you have one. Now adjust the camera to M gear or mobile phone in pro mode.

Set the aperture to around F11 and ISO as low as possible, generally adjusted to 100.

The shutter setting depends on the shooting situation. faster shutter speed is needed for shorter light painting, and slower shutter speed for longer light painting.

Since there may be a slight shake when the shutter is pressed and recorded by the camera, it is recommended to turn on the countdown mode of the camera or mobile phone to avoid it.

Now you can run in the dark. After starting the exposure, hold the light and move it according to the planned track. Two stick light RGB516 with built-in batteries are used here, one is adjusted to blue color and the other is red color. Two lightweighted stick lights can easily make various battle actions.

If the picture is too bright or too dark, it can be solved by adjusting the aperture or ISO.

If the picture is blurry, you need to manually focus on the subject before shooting.

In this process you can turn on a light to provide illumination so that the subject can be clearly seen and focused, and because the aperture is small and the depth of field is very deep, focusing is also easier.

Because light painting is a collection of exposures in a period of time, changes in light will be recorded. if you use color chase function in the APP for RGB516, you can record all the brilliant colors that are cycled.
